Privacy Policy
WhatsLeft App · Last updated: May 10, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the WhatsLeft mobile application (the "Application"), developed by Manuel Thurner / 03 Studios (the "Service Provider"). WhatsLeft helps you visualize time, create countdowns, protect focus sessions, configure widgets, and receive reminders.
Information Collection
User Provided Information
WhatsLeft does not require an account. Information you enter or configure in the Application may include your birthday or time baseline, onboarding choices, countdown titles and dates, reminder preferences, focus session settings, widget preferences, and app/category blocking selections.
Automatically Collected Information
This information is used to provide the app features you request. It is stored locally on your device and, where needed for widgets or app extensions, in the app group storage shared between WhatsLeft and its extensions.
Screen Time and App Blocking
If you enable focus protection or app blocking, WhatsLeft uses Apple Screen Time / Family Controls APIs to let you choose apps or categories to block during focus sessions. These selections are used only to apply the blocking behavior on your device.
- WhatsLeft does not receive the contents of your selected apps or your browsing history.
- Blocking selections are stored locally so the app and its extensions can apply your chosen settings.
- You can change or revoke Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, WhatsLeft may schedule local reminders about your time, goals, countdowns, or focus sessions. Notification preferences are stored on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases and Subscriptions
WhatsLeft uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may process purchase status, subscription entitlement information, app user identifiers generated for purchase management, and related technical information needed to provide paid features.
Analytics and Tracking
WhatsLeft does not sell your personal information and does not use your data for cross-app or cross-website tracking. If analytics are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those analytics are used.
Data Sharing
Your locally stored WhatsLeft data is not uploaded to the Service Provider. Purchase-related data may be processed by RevenueCat and Apple to provide subscriptions and in-app purchases. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Required Reason APIs
WhatsLeft uses Apple UserDefaults, including app group UserDefaults, to store app preferences, countdowns, focus state, subscription state, widget settings, and other information needed for the app and extensions to work. This data remains within the app and its app group.
Location Data
WhatsLeft does not collect precise location data.
Your Choices
You can stop the Application from storing new local information by uninstalling it. You can revoke notification permissions and Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings. To manage purchases or subscriptions, use your Apple ID subscription settings.
Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, reset app data where available, or uninstall the Application. Purchase and subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective policies and legal requirements.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
