• Account information: email and name (via Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In)
• Trip content: trips you create or join (destination/country/dates), members, activities, expenses, and related notes
• Travel documents (local): documents you add or scan in the app (stored on your device)
• Photos/videos (optional): photos you select or capture when using features like Photo Analysis
• Precise location (optional): if you grant permission, certain tools may use your location to provide context
• Usage & diagnostics: app usage events (screen views, feature usage), device and app version information

How We Use Your Information

• Provide core app functionality (create trips, invite/join, manage activities and expenses)
• Sync data and enable login (authentication + backend storage)
• Provide optional features such as AI/photo analysis and travel tools
• Maintain app security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
• Understand usage patterns and improve the product

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with TripTogether (for example: screen views, session duration, and feature usage). This data helps us improve the app. We do not use Firebase Analytics for advertising and we do not engage in cross-app tracking.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following service providers to operate the app:

• Supabase: backend services, database hosting, authentication (privacy policy)
• RevenueCat: subscription management (privacy policy)
• Apple / Google: authentication and platform services
• Firebase: analytics and usage statistics

Data Retention

We retain account and trip data for as long as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion from within the app or by contacting us. Local documents stored on your device remain there until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. To exercise your rights, use the in-app options where available or contact us.

Children's Privacy

TripTogether is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
